Product Description:
PE-RT Type II Polyurethane Insulated Pipe is a factory-prefabricated direct-buried insulation system consisting of a PE-RT Type II working pipe, rigid polyurethane (PU) foam insulation layer and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) outer jacket. The three layers are closely integrated to provide reliable thermal insulation, weather and moisture protection, and long-term pipeline performance.
PE-RT Type II combines excellent heat resistance with good mechanical and chemical properties, making it suitable for hot and cold water transmission and thermal pipeline systems. With a diameter range of DN25–DN355, the pipe is particularly suitable for buried secondary district heating networks, building hot and cold water systems and industrial piping applications.
Key Advantages
Excellent Thermal Performance — PU insulation effectively reduces heat loss and improves energy efficiency.
High-Temperature Resistance — PE-RT Type II provides good long-term performance in elevated-temperature water systems.
Three-Layer Integrated Structure — Working pipe, insulation and HDPE outer jacket form a factory-prefabricated system.
Reliable Moisture Protection — HDPE outer jacket helps protect the insulation layer from water and environmental exposure.
Direct-Buried Installation — Suitable for underground secondary heating networks and other buried pipeline systems.
Good Chemical Resistance — PE-RT Type II and HDPE provide good resistance to a wide range of common chemical environments.
Lightweight & Easy Installation — Compared with traditional insulated steel piping systems, the polymer-based structure facilitates handling and installation.
Flexible Project Configuration — Pipe diameter, pressure rating, insulation parameters and outer jacket dimensions can be customized.
Applications
